 Luke
Scavuzzo, is a life long resident of Harrisonville, Missouri. Mr.
Scavuzzo graduated from Harrisonville High School and completed his
studies at Benedictine College in Atchison Kansas. He was married to
Candace Christiansen in 1982 and they have two children, Luke and
Jenna.
Mr. Scavuzzo, along with other family members, owned Scavuzzo’s Price
Chopper, a family business with a 76-year history of serving the area.
The business was sold in 1999 and remains a Price Chopper store.
Luke and his family attend Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where
he serves on numerous finance and building committees. He is presently
on the Board of Trustees of the Harrisonville Public School Foundation
and Treasurer of the Harrisonville Athletic Booster Club. Luke has
also served two terms on the Board of Directors for the Harrisonville
Chamber of Commerce. He is past president of the Board of Directors of
the Harrisonville Baseball Association where he volunteered his time
for ten years. As well as serving on the Harrisonville Park Board,
Luke enjoys volunteering his time with youth in the area. |
