Jackson County is ready for New Leadership.

Gary Scherer believes Jackson County deserves an ethical campaign based on issues of public safety, public service, leadership and principles above politics. Gary also believes that the election of the new Jackson County Sheriff is the right time for a change and that Jackson County citizens are ready for new leadership.

The goal of providing the highest level of professionalism, public safety and public service will be achieved through various efforts. Such will include public information programs, effective law enforcement strategies, supportive crime victim programs and multi-agency task forces. All these efforts will enhance the Sheriff’s Department operation.
