| What People are
Saying...
Sheila brings the same spirit of service
to the people of District 3 as Bob Daffer, Ron Fowler and I
did for over 30 years.
--Carson Ross
Former State Representative, Former City Councilman
I’ve worked with Sheila for years.
She’s confident, conservative, creative and courageous. Sheila
understands the delicate balance between a healthy development
industry and homeowners’ rights. Additionally, Ms. Solon knows
that Economic Development is about creating “Real Jobs” and
not just building more multi-family, high density housing in
Blue Springs.
--Ron Fowler
We are so excited
that Sheila is running for Bob’s old seat. He thought so much
of her. Not only does Sheila possess the qualifications to
make her an excellent City Council member – leadership,
tenacity and loyalty – but she also is a good person. That is
why the Daffer family wholeheartedly supports Sheila Solon’s
candidacy for District 3 City Council.
--Marilyn Daffer
Sheila Solon has
proven that as a Planning Commissioner she considers what is
in the best interest of residences and community and not that
of special interest groups or for personal gain. After her
many years of serving our community she continues
to stay objective, give great evaluation, consideration and
study to her decisions and exemplifies what a City
Council member should be.
--Lynn Banks
Sheila is not afraid to speak out and
stand up for the little guy.
--Debbie Hays
Sheila is one of a kind person, hard-working, dedicated and
a team player. She will be the one you can always count on.

I have had the privilege of working with
Sheila for the past several years on the Blue Springs Planning
Commission. I have observed Sheila as the hardest working member
of the Planning Commission. She researches the subjects of the
meetings and comes to the meetings extremely well prepared. She
stands up to anyone for any issue which she feels she needs to yet
makes members of the public feel welcome at the meetings.
